Street Dance

Classes are offered to boys and girls aged 5 and up (from 7 at Epping branch). Street dance is an extremely popular style of dance. It has been around for many years and continues to evolve with the music trends. This class includes moves and music of the moment from artists such as Timbaland, Kanye West, Lady Gaga and many more. The opportunity to take exams with the I.D.T.A will soon be available.

Tap

We offer Tap to boys and girls aged 6 and up (from 7 at Epping branch). We currently study the B.T.D.A Syllabus. With the class concentrating on technique and group dances.

Adult Street Dance

This class is for Over 16’s at Coopersale, Epping. It’s a fun class that uses street dance to exercise. It can be taken at your own rate and can be made more complex or simplified for individuals.

Cheerleading

This class works on flexibility, team work, strength and fitness. The class learn chants and routines as well as tricks and stunts. It is becoming more and more popular and is very good at developing team work, discipline and support amongst peer groups.

Singing

The children learn popular songs from the charts as well as films and musicals. Working as a class and individually, technique and performance skills are developed throughout. The opportunity to take exams with the LCM will shortly be available.

Drama

Energetic and inspirational games, sketches and improvisations are used to teach the children a variety of techniques and skills in drama. Age appropriate topics and material is used throughout, including up to date and classic pieces. Classes are on offer to Children aged between 5 and 18 at Beckton.
