About SmoothMoves Academy of Performing Arts

SmoothMoves Academy of Performing Arts opened in Epping in September 2008. It covers a wide variety of performance classes including Street Dance, Tap, Ballet, Cheerleading, Drama, Singing, Musical Theatre and Adult Street Dance.

The aim of SmoothMoves Academy is to offer training in technique and performance, whilst in an exciting, inspiring, friendly and safe environment.

All the teachers of SmoothMoves Academy have experience working in the performing arts profession.

The Beckton branch of SmoothMoves Academy is currently trading under the name ‘Fusion Arts Theatre School’. After being the main dance teacher for 5 years Lauren has now brought the two schools together as one.

The Academy often takes part in competitions, shows, festivals and community events as well as taking exams in various subjects.

The children age from 5 years upwards and both boys and girls are welcome. The students are encouraged to work as a team and support each other and bullying, of any kind, is not tolerated.

All teachers are police checked (CRB) and first aid qualified.
